Thinakaran Lab - Cell Biology of Alzheimer's Disease

I am majoring in Cell & Molecular Biology with a minor in Psychology at USF. I first learned biology in middle school and have been interested in the small delicate molecules since then, with gene expression as my favorite topic. Joining the Thinakaran Lab was like a dream come true for me. I have the opportunity to not only learn theories on brain functions but also do actual experiments and see how the theories turn out in reality. I hope to keep doing cool experiments, learn new things in the lab, and prepare for a Ph.D. degree in the future!
